Scope

Our foundation is going to support the development of biomedical research focused on searching for gene-therapeutic solutions to threat and manage rare hereditary neurodevelopmental disorders, unravel the molecular mechanisms underlying these disorders, search for new antibiotic, anticancer, and other biologically active natural products by screening producing soil bacteria.

As an ultimate goal
we see us offering novel ideas in generalized gene therapy or personally-tailored medical solutions. Our experience in cell and molecular biology will aid in this. Occurrence of certain rare neurodevelopmental disorders remain under-investigated worldwide.
To fill this gap
other goal of our Foundation and research institution is to make (or augment existing) comprehensive population-wide screens for such disorders, contributing to the better prenatal and postnatal diagnostics, special care solutions, and possible treatment.

Education of the general audience, including parent and health providers, about the rare neurodevelopmental disorders is key for successful family planning and proper diagnostics.

Hence, our next goal would be to create educational content and spread it via social networks and YouTube channel. Same would be made to estimate and manage the problem of antibiotic resistance, which is a growing treat. Importantly, problems described above could resolved using natural resources coming from soil microorganisms, such as natural products and novel Cas-genes. Accumulating our experience in natural products discovery, we would be able to create a library of soil bacteria (coming from phyla Actinomycetota, Myxococota, and Bacillota) – a putatively rich source of novel bioactive compounds.

Aims.

The foundation plans to perform financial support for the non-commercial, non-profit research activities aimed to:
